Forum 2015 and APAME joint sessions

August 24 (Mon.) – Joint opening ceremonies and welcome reception at PICC.
August 26 (Wed.) – Two back-to-back sessions at the PICC, from 13:30 to 15:00 and 15:30 – 17:00.

The subject of the two sessions will be (1) Medical Journals, Social Accountability and the Democratization of Knowledge and (2) Capacity-building strategies to increase dissemination of research and innovation in LMICs.

The format for these two back-to-back sessions will include a mixture of lecture, panel discussion and a mini-debate. Audience participation and interaction will be encouraged through the use of film, panel reactors, and real-time response tabulations. The APAME Manila Declaration 2015 will be launched at the end of the second APAME-Forum 2015 Session.
